TIME CONQURES ALL

So close yet so far when you’re away I wonder where you are

An empty bed a room so cold I long for the days my house once was a home

As I lay beside you and you beside me, I gaze in your eyes and wonder what may one day be

A friendship so strong the test of time it can bear

Once friends now lovers a future up in the air.

Life is so exciting in a world so new, never two days quite the same since the day I met you

Can’t show you I’ve fallen can’t be viewed as weak

I’ve always been the strong one how did you knock me off my feet

The plan was to put you under my spell but you managed to flip the switch

I am determined not to go down alone a dual to the death ain’t this a @itch

1 is for your time, 2 is for your love, 3 is for your hugs and kisses wrapped in all above

Now put your hands up and surrender to me, my sword to your heart which now beats for me.

Now get on your knees with your hands high in the air and your heart wide open with possibilities

Such a fragile organ I will handle with care, let down your guard you need not fear

For I am too a surgeon, these hands are a gift from god, with a heart made of gold I can mend all parts
