The night of his birthday after an amazing dinner at the resort's restaurant, Connor and I went back up to our room to find a beautiful fruit and cheese plate waiting for us with a bottle of champagne! But before we could dig in, Connor asked me to come outside with him onto the balcony. Somehow we had managed to score a top floor room with a view that could take your breath away. As we stood there looking out at the quiet beach and the black waves he suddenly turned to me and got down on one knee. WAH?! We had talked about getting married for a while, but I was completely taken by surprise when he decided to ask me on his birthday! He made that weekend so unforgettable for both of us and it was easily one of the best days of my life. |
