Hey everybody!

 

We were presented with the idea of this website by our travel agent. At first neither of us were interested because we felt like we were just begging for money. We are too proud for that! I told a few people about it and they convinced me it wasn't begging, but instead a way for people to contribute to our wedding without having to go out and get a wedding present. So we thought we would try it. If you would like to contribute great! If not, we still love you but still poke around the website and get to know us. 

 

Jacqui and I talked a long time about what we wanted to do for our wedding. At first we were going to do a small ceremony, but there were too many people we wanted to invite! We have some supporters and some non-supporters and we realized we did not want to worry about who was going to come and who was not. If we were going to spend the money we wanted our day to be special and stress free. We decided that since most people put so much into their wedding day, they can't afford a honeymoon afterwards. A wedding should be about the couple so Jacqui and I decided to focus on us and us only. We decided we are going to spend a week in Maui and get married on the beach. Instead of one special day, we are going to have a week! Feel free to save your money and not give us a gift, instead spend it on a plane ticket to Maui and join us! We would like that better anyway!
